Chaiyaphum Wind Power Project, Thailand
The Chaiyaphum Wind Farm project generates electricity using renewable wind energy. The project activity reduces an estimated 117,849 tCO2e emissions per year of greenhouse gases, thereby replacing 124,041.6 MWh/year of electricity with renewable energy. The project diversifies the mix of power plants connected to the Thailand electricity grid, which is mainly dominated by thermal/fossil-fuel-based power plants. Chaiyaphum Wind Farm Co. Ltd. is the promoter of the project and The Electricity Generating Public Company Limited or EGCO Group is the holding company of the project.
