Microsol, a french peruvian social enteprise, has been promoting climate and social solutions in Latin America for over 17 years, especially for highly vulnerable communities. Their work focuses on managing programs that provide access to clean technologies to improve the quality of life for families and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, all under international carbon certification and sustainability standards.

With their Qori Q’oncha Program, which means “Golden Stoves” in Quechua, in the Peruvian Andes they have achieved a total emissions reduction of 2,846,159 tCO₂e. This translates to thousands of rural families who previously lacked access to sustainable energy sources now experiencing less indoor air pollution and enjoying a better quality of life. On the other hand, their Utsil Naj Program, which means “healthy house” in Mayan, is being implemented in rural areas of the Dry Corridor in three countries: Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras. In addition, they have developed, structured and currently manage their "Tuki Wasi Program" in Peru, the first Internationally Transferred Mitigation Outcomes Program (ITMO) for Improved Cookstoves in the region, as part of the bilateral agreement signed between the governments of Switzerland and Peru, within the framework of Article 6.2 of the Paris Agreement. The Program is currently in the final validation phase and aims to contribute to 12 SDGs.
