Across Forest AS is an initiative taken by the founders to establish the Nicaforest High Impact Reforestation Program in Nicaragua in 2010. The company organize ownership and management of the program together with the team in Nicaragua. As an experienced project developer, we understand the challenges in establishing and managing carbon removal projects with strong environmental and social co-benefits, as well as all hurdles in the certification processes.
The sister company, Across Nature AS, was established in 2019 aiming at developing climate mitigation projects within different sectors. This company is currently involved in the development of a kelp restoration project and a biochar project, as well as being active in the volunatry carbon market with credits from the NIcaforest project and the terra-registered project Norteak Group, also Nicaragua.
